SEO Copywriting GuidelinesStart by ensuring that the content on every page in your site is written from the customer's viewpoint rather than your own. 1. Content Ensure that the content on every page in your site includes your strategic keywords and accurately describes your offerings. The ideal amount of copy is 200-1000 words Aim for a keyword density of around 2% Keyword placement Try to include keywords towards the start of each page Use keywords in headlines and sub-heads Use keywords in links to other pages and anchors Hyperlink keywords so they stand out Repeat your keyword phrases at least three times.
Keywords are used in your title, description, and keywords meta tags, as well as in your content, so it's important to get this right through careful research.
